An old fashioned, golden yellow variety with a greenish core producing very large but tender and juicy roots. Carrots do best in fertile, well drained soil, but do not like fresh manures. In summer they require plenty of deep watering. Good companion plant with peas, lettuces and onions. 300 seeds
